By the way, I have just emailed Cam Mather to inquire about his solar energy system and to ask about upcoming workshops in the spring. My hubby is very interested in setting up solar and wind power. So, I'm thankful to the Lord for leading me to you and also to Cam and Michelle!

P.S. I've added your blog link to my blog's sidebar. Bye for now...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8873216915823507728.post-29028941321568172652011-12-01T13:27:42.858-08:002011-12-01T13:27:42.858-08:00Brenda - it's always a pleasure to find a new ...Brenda - it's always a pleasure to find a new like-minded friend :) Thanks for reading! I truely know your pain but there is NOTHING like having to wait and then seeing your dream fulfilled. I sometimes wander around the farm with a big grin on my face - my kids laugh at me and say - Yeah MOM we know - We LIVE here (finally)!!! It looks like we have a few things in common. I, too, have experienced the longing for land, to the point where it almost physically hurt. It's an ache that won't go away. I'm doing what I can in my small town backyard until we can buy land (growing vegs, fruit, herbs, backyard chickens, canning, etc.). My timeline is next spring, but it's in the Lord's hands. I've been looking in Hastings County, north of Belleville (Tweed, Stirling, Gilmour, Madoc, etc.) where there are large tracts of land priced relatively cheap.

Anyway, I could go on and on! You know how exciting it is to find like-minded people ~smile~. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of your posts, and I'm now "following" your blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
